This is the name of the tiny village where our meditation resort is located.
The cliffs that rise above it slide steeply into the Saronic Gulf like a natural finger. Together with the silence, detachment and the sea that can be seen from all sides, it creates a feeling of a small island.
Therefore, the choice of name for the meditation center was natural. "Nisida" – a small island of peace, tranquility and spiritual development.
On a small hill overlooking a panoramic view of the Saronic Gulf. In the heart of an ancient olive grove, we renovated a large house that became a center for various workshops.
A short drive from our "Nisida", was located 2,500 years ago, the city of medicine Epidavros, dedicated to the god of medicine Asclepius.
The concept of treatment that took place in ancient Epidaurus was based on physical treatments combined with spiritual practices, which addressed the human soul and spirit as a central part of healing.
When we chose the location for our meditation resort, the connection to the roots moved us.
We felt the connection to the place and to the holistic medical work that took place in ancient Epidavros.
here in "Nisida" would take place a small and modest continuation of the medical work of the body and soul.
We decided that the place would be beyond accommodation in beautiful suites.
We decided to establish a resort, for a multi-sensory, multi-layered experience.
